A record year — and a record above the world
In the May 2026 examination session, Concordian’s IB Diploma Programme candidates achieved an average of 37 points, the highest in the school’s history and more than six points clear of the worldwide average of 30.88. With this result, Concordian’s IB Diploma average has now exceeded the global average every year for seventeen consecutive years (2010 to 2026).
Ninety-five percent of the cohort were awarded the full IB Diploma, and a third scored 40 points or higher — a band reached by only the strongest candidates worldwide. Two students achieved the maximum possible score of 45 points, a distinction Concordian students have now reached in four graduating classes: 2010, 2022, 2024, and 2026.
Every Grade 12 cohort since the school’s first graduating class in 2010 has graduated at 100 percent. All 42 members of the Class of 2026 have gone on to university, bringing Concordian’s totals to 510 graduates and 498 direct university matriculations between 2010 and 2026.
Concordian is a non-selective school. We welcome students of all academic profiles, and these results show exactly what they can achieve with the right support and teaching.
Concordian International School is a trilingual IB World School in Bangkok, on the Bangkok / Samut Prakarn border, authorised for all three International Baccalaureate programmes from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12. Congratulations to the Class of 2026.
