Dear Concordian Parents,

Welcome to the Community and Service (CAS) Program at Concordian International School. Community and Service is one of the five Areas of Interaction within the Middle Years Program and is an integral component of IB schools world-wide.

CAS gives the students an opportunity to extend themselves beyond the formal curriculum of study and apply knowledge in ways that will benefit both them and the community.

It is a program that develops students’ community awareness and concern and the skills needed to make an effective contribution to society. It is an opportunity for the students to see first hand the difference they can make – personally, locally and globally.

The students have done many exciting activities throughout their time at Concordian to give back to the community and look forward to many more opportunities as the school moves forward into the Diploma Program.

Thank you for your continued support.

CAS Coordinator
