The IB Diploma Programme at Concordian pairs an experienced, internationally minded faculty with small, supportive classes, and it is open to every student who completes our Middle Years Programme.
Small classes, outstanding support
- Small classes of 5 to 15 students
- A 1:4 teacher-to-student ratio
- A broad spectrum of subject offerings
- Experienced teachers, 21 of whom are presently IB examiners, several with more than 20 years of teaching experience
- Every teacher fully trained in their subject before they teach it
- A dedicated, caring staff
- Excellent IB results and university acceptances around the world
Open to Every Student
In keeping with the Concordian and IBO mission statements, we believe every student should have access to the Diploma Programme, so our programme is non-selective. Successful completion of the MYP (Years 1 to 5 / Grades 6 to 10) makes a student a candidate for the DP. Only a small number of prerequisites apply, and only to subjects in Group 1 (Studies in Language and Literature), Group 2 (Language Acquisition) and Group 5 (Mathematics), as set out below.
