Man – Stanford University

Concordian has been a lot more to me than a school. It is the place that instilled the value of leadership, responsibility, and compassion in me. Concordian taught me to believe in myself. It taught me I can and I will achieve the farfetched dream I have – going to a world-class university and becoming an influential and compassionate leader in society.

Minky – Cambridge University

As some of you may know, I graduated from Concordian with the IB Diploma in 2013. I took a gap year to do A-levels, enhancing my academic even further. And finally, I made it to the University of Cambridge! It is a dream come true.

Byte – Oxford University

I was introduced to the IB curriculum with the IB learner profile when I applied to Concordian in Grade 7. The attribute that stood out to me was “reflective”. The concept cropped up so many times during my years at Concordian. I remember I was very confused why I had to write paragraphs of reflection in my Math class, which I thought was supposed to be just formulas and numbers.

Bittersweet to say the least. I still recall vividly home, away from my family and friends who I shared happiness, stresses and tears with. As soon as the plane landed, excitement and nervousness rushed through my veins and I couldn’t help but feel the need to be ready for this big move and change in my life.

Sun – UCLA

Friday, August 9th, 2019

“IB x 99” was my initial thought of what university education would be like. Reality? I can tell you that it is utterly different from what I perceived. I can never be more proud of being a Bruin, for being a tiny part of UCLA. Believe it or not, I feel that the amount of pressure I have right now as a first-year college student is much less than being a first-year IB student.

First and foremost, Concordian stands out as an educational program in Thailand that offers the kind of options that are not found anywhere else throughout the whole country. IB schools are a rarity itself, and Concordian is the only one that combines the education with instructions in three official languages, giving the students a massive talent-based head start of multiple decades over the others in the country.
